Now that I think about that M5 I posted earlier would work really well for Doug too.

If for no other reason, he should do it for that gated shifter.

dat gated shifter.

If he were to look at it I live in the area and would help spot potential issues on a test drive… :)

No, no it wouldn't... Not when THIS is the alternative.

Man, that looks clean. A gated stick Ferrari would be very very cool...

It's exotic and crazy enough for you, as well.

How much is your budget again?

"WE DO NOT KNOW WHEN THE LAST ENGINE OUT SERVICE WAS PERFORMED" AKA: Never. AKA: Get ready to drop $15k directly after purchase or let that sweet little V8 implode.
![]() 01/16/2014 at 21:43 |
|
Yeah but they're only asking $31k!
![]() 01/16/2014 at 21:43 |
|
Theoretically, $50k, but that's been very much surpassed.
![]() 01/16/2014 at 21:49 |
|
So, $50k total cost by the time the service guy (assuming you know a good local F car guy) find all the shit that has rotted out and everything the dumbass that put 1500 miles on it ignored... Still a decent deal, I mean, the gates.

Do you really want to leave PC while Sundance is on to go to Orem? You might not get out alive.

Just remember, Ferrari manual transmissions of that era have reverse where most of us are used to having first gear. That could lead to some embarrassing/expensive starts.

So, you bought a car?
![]() 01/16/2014 at 23:14 |

I think these sell for 35-40k with recent service. The major engine out service is 10k-15k so you wouldn't want to go much higher than where it is now.

I'm on the outskirts so I can get out. It's the getting in to work part that will be tricky.

It must be done.

NO! I've seen this car up close in person and it's not the car you're looking for. They may have cleaned it up since I saw it, but when I did, it wasn't running right. It might be okay now, but I'm just saying: It may glitter, but that doesn't mean it's gold.
